Born on May 22, 1997, in Rochester to David and Kathy Neswold, Keliesha was raised in a close-knit family environment grounded in strong community values. She graduated from Stewartville High School in 2015 and continued her education at Rochester Community and Technical College. Professionally, she built a respected career at Mayo Clinic, where she first served as a Health Unit Coordinator in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit before moving into her role as a Desk Operations Specialist in Radiology. She was widely appreciated for her dedication, kindness, and uplifting presence in the workplace.
A faithful member of Zion Lutheran Church, Keliesha remained deeply connected to her spiritual roots throughout her life. She embraced life with enthusiasm, finding joy in experiences such as attending rock concerts, longboarding, and traveling—especially her annual trips to Mexico, which she treasured. Known for her playful and lighthearted nature, she created meaningful traditions with loved ones, including Halloween movie nights with her mother, and valued the simple pleasures of time spent with family and friends.
Keliesha’s love for animals was evident in her special bond with her cat, Harriet. Above all, she held her family close, particularly her nieces, Makenna and Lainey, who brought her immense pride and happiness.
She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, quick humor, and the positive energy she shared so freely. Her ability to bring smiles to others and her lasting impact on those around her will not be forgotten. Though her life was tragically brief, she lived it fully and with deep love.
Keliesha is survived by her parents, David and Kathy; her brother Kyle and his partner Allison Byrne; her beloved nieces; extended family; and many dear friends, including Jacob Brekke. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Fern and Duane Vanderford, as well as several aunts and uncles.
